Minister for Police and Counter Terrorism, Yasmin Catley, expressed her hope that the reward announcement would motivate individuals with information to come forward. The NSW Government’s ongoing support for the investigation was pledged through this reward.

Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty, Homicide Squad Commander, emphasized that no piece of information is too trivial for consideration in this painstaking investigation. Despite over two decades of investigation, police believe there may still be individuals with relevant information that could assist them.
